Teacher: Break out of your comfort zone to improve lessons

When people talk about reinventing the wheel, it can carry a negative connotation of redoing already-completed work. In this blog post, English teacher Ryan W. Ihrke takes a different view, saying it is preferred -- and even necessary -- for educators to examine and recreate their work. He writes that teachers can become comfortable with old worksheets and handouts, when they should "[p]ush delete, and begin recreating your wheel."
