Massachusetts Senate agrees to more limited mental-health parity

Although a bill passed Thursday by the Massachusetts Senate doesn't go as far as its companion bill in the state House, it would require insurers to cover treatments for people with autism, eating disorders, substance abuse or post-traumatic stress disorder. Coverage for other recognized disorders could be added by the state's mental-health commissioner.
