Top U.S. hospitals share common themes

Innovation, nursing care and continuing education are among the eight key factors common among the hospitals that made it to U.S. News & World Report's 2010 Honor Roll. Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, topped this year's list for the 20th year, and one official said, "What keeps Hopkins at the top is our unique ability to take what has been developed in a research lab and bring it into clinical practice."
