$2.1B water project expected to begin in New York in 2018

The 85-mile long Delaware Aqueduct provides drinking water to New York City -- and leaks as much as 35 million gallons of water each day. It will cost about $2.1 billion to conduct repairs, build a bypass tunnel and supplement the water supply during a year-long project set to begin in 2018.
