Poor benefits may push employees to eye new opportunities

Small businesses that want to hang on to key talent shouldn't be too frugal with employee benefits, experts advise. A MetLife survey found that half of workers want benefits such as health and dental, even if they have to pay for them. The survey also found that workers' sense of loyalty toward their employers has decreased since 2008, and that many workers are open to better offers from other employers.
