Denver winery bucks tradition, promotes canned wines

Denver winery Infinite Monkey Theorem is leading the charge for the sale of canned wine, as companies such as Spirit Airlines and wineries in France and Australia begin to warm up to the idea, this article says. Infinite Monkey Theorem has bucked the stuffiness of the traditional wine industry, first selling its canned wine in 2011, marketing it as a portable alternative to bagged wines, the article says. "I hate the [snobby side of wine]. ... I figure the least pretentious thing we can do is put wine in a can," said Infinite Monkey Theorem CEO and winemaker Ben Parsons.
