Exec: Work on Plains and Eastern Clean Line on track to start in 2015

Work on the proposed Plains and Eastern Clean Line wind-power transmission project is on course to begin in 2015, although construction is expected to take two years longer than originally planned, according to Michael Skelly, president of Clean Line Energy Partners. The line would send electricity generated by wind farms in Oklahoma to customers of the Tennessee Valley Authority and other utilities in the South. The project's draft environmental-impact assessment is expected to be completed early next year.
