Lobbyists opposing "patent trolls" hit the halls of Congress

The Big Tent coalition, a collection of companies and industry organizations lobbying for patent reform, will meet with congressional leaders this week to discuss the issue of "patent trolls," the firms that mostly exist to file litigation and collect royalties. Bills are pending in both houses of Congress, Katy Bachman writes, and lobbyists are hoping to pass legislation before Congress begins its August recess.
