Photo of NASA workers dressed as Vikings spurs investigation

Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, this month initiated an investigation into possible government wasteful spending after a photo surfaced featuring NASA researchers dressed as Vikings. A NASA spokesman said the inquiry found that "no taxpayer funds were used" in the project by an astrophysics graduate student, who said the photo was meant to spark interest in space science.
