Why you should encourage employees to speak up

A business might need to actively encourage input from its employees who often tend to simply agree with management directives regardless of their merit, writes Charalambos Vlachoutsicos, adjunct professor at Athens University of Economics and Business. Managers might be reluctant to listen to what employees have to say, however, and it might take some extra work to overcome this obstacle.
