Ditch the Web benchmarks that don't matter anymore

Site rankings, keyword-heavy content posted merely for the sake of having new content, and link exchanges that encourage users to navigate away from a site are some of the long-obsolete tactics that marketers need to abandon, writes Eric Schiffer, CEO of DigitalMarketing.com. Marketers should instead focus on solid website design and quality content that may not necessarily generate instant traffic but will encourage users to stick around.
