McDonald's pulls menu items in Hong Kong

McDonald's took chicken nuggets and other items sourced from Shanghai Husi Food off the menu at its Hong Kong restaurants Friday, and said it would start sourcing those ingredients from suppliers in Thailand. Husi has been accused of selling expired meat from one of its China facilities. Earlier in the day, the quickservice chain had said it would continue working with Husi, a Chinese subsidiary of long-time US-based supplier OSI Group.
