Mentoring could help tech companies build a diverse pipeline

White men are the majority of the workforce at many tech companies, and the diversity problem gets worse when you look at senior technology and leadership positions. One possible solution is mentoring programs that start young. "One of the best ways for tech companies to build a more diverse employee pipeline is through youth mentoring," says David Shapiro, CEO of MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership.
