Digital music market learns lessons from file-sharing

After years of trying to quash file-sharing, the music industry is taking lessons from its former nemesis, with legal download sites offering some of the features once exclusively found on such sites as Kazaa. Legal music sites are beginning to allow users to share songs, although they have come up with innovative ways to ensure that the file-sharing remains legal.
