Report: GED testing down in 2002

According to a report by the GED Testing Service, the number of people taking the new high school equivalency exam in 2002 dropped 43.6% from the previous year's level, although slightly more test-takers passed than had in the past. The report profiled the average GED passer as a 23.8-year-old male with at least 11 years of formal education.
