Catholics Down Under are least homophobic

A survey of 25,000 Australians on homophobia found, despite public condemnations from church leaders, Catholics were among the most tolerant of gays and lesbians. Least tolerant were older people, boys between the ages of 14 and 17, the less educated and individuals who were Baptists or evangelical Christians.
