Google and Yahoo! look to jumpstart mobile Web

While carrier-based mobile Web offerings have been a feature on mobile phones for years, Web giants including Google and Yahoo! are increasingly creating and developing content specifically for the smallest screens. Mark Donovan, senior analyst with M:Metrics, told The Washington Post: "Google and Yahoo can't view PCs and the wireless world as disconnected silos. We live in this grid of connectivity, and we want to connect wherever we may."
