Passive solar design saves energy in Georgia home

In 2005, a Georgia couple hired a construction crew in Ohio to build a home that incorporates passive solar designs. The home uses the annual and daily cycles of the sun to reduce heating and cooling requirements, while structural insulated panels on the outside of the home provide uniform insulation. The home also has a metal roof.
