San Diego County to receive $1.77B in stimulus funds

San Diego County, Calif., will receive at least $1.77 billion in stimulus funds for more than 200 projects across the county. The projects range from construction of a Camp Pendleton hospital to renovations of the San Diego trolley system. Experts estimate the stimulus-funded projects will create 19,200 jobs in the region, which has recently lost 55,000 jobs.
