Brazil's science and tech ministry sets up co-financed R&D initiative

The ministry for science and technology in Brazil has established a co-financed research and development program aimed at bolstering technology transfer between medical technology firms and the country's R&D institute. The ministry's FINEP financing division has raised $62 million in funding for the program, which covers medical devices and biomaterials, among other key areas.
