Golden Gate Bridge project moving forward with funds

More federal funds have helped work get under way on the Doyle Drive Replacement Project at San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge. The project is expected to be completed by 2013 and will improve access and reduce the risk of peripheral earthquake damage to the Bay Area. The $1 billion project is being funded through federal, state, regional and local funds, including millions from the Recovery Act.
