Law firm is barred from using gong effect in TV ads

Parker Waichman Alonso has been barred from using a slew of special effects and phrases, including a metallic gong sound and the words "right now," in its broadcast advertising. A Massachusetts judge issued the injunction as part of a case in which the firm is accused of using an advertising company's copyrighted materials without permission.
