Macy's seeks image boost with Madonna's fashion line

Madonna's new clothing line is headed to Macy's, and the retailer is banking on the performer's fast-fashion line to help revamp its image. The Material Girl line targets teen girls with edgy fashions and will range in price from $12 to $40. The fashion line, which will appear Aug. 3 in 200 of Macy's 800 stores, puts Macy's in the same arena as fast-fashion specialty stores including Forever 21 for the first time.
