New Jersey lawmakers could change rules on charter schools

It could be quicker for charter schools to gain approval in New Jersey under a bill to be considered by state lawmakers. Under the proposed legislation, the waiting period to approve a charter school would be reduced to five months, and applications would be considered on a rolling schedule.
