Hershey posts higher sales, profit

Hershey said net earnings more than doubled in the second quarter, and sales rose 7.5%, to $1.33 billion. The company, which boosted ad expenditures by 8%, said it would continue to increase ad spending to support product launches including Hershey's Air Delight.
