Posting food info may help diners cut calories, experts say

Posting calorie information on restaurant menus helped one out of six customers in New York City to opt for lower-calorie items, according to a study in the British Medical Journal. The findings suggest that prominently posting calorie content on food items may influence buying habits of customers, experts said.
