Study: Big spenders average $14 per in-app transaction

While relatively few people spend money on mobile games, those who do more than make up for rest of the population, according to a study from Flurry, which found that more than 5% of potential buyers pay more than $50 in a market where the average in-app expenditure is $14 -- more than the typical cost of a premium-priced game. Flurry studied the habits of 3.5 million iOS and Android users.
