Infineon holds rights to Qimonda patents, German court rules

Infineon Technologies has won a favorable ruling in a legal dispute over rights to patents held by Qimonda, the memory-chip maker it spun off through an initial public offering in 2006. Qimonda became insolvent in 2009, and the insolvency administrator in charge of its case claimed that Infineon could not have Qimonda's patent rights under Germany's insolvency rules.
