Mandiant CEO: Humans are the kink in the cybersecurity chain

For all the technology available designed to protect computer networks against intrusion, there is no solution on the market for patching the single biggest security vulnerability facing enterprises: their employees. Kevin Mandia, chief executive of Mandiant -- which exposed a massive Chinese hacking network with a report in February -- says more hackers are exploiting the human weakness of curiosity with methods such as "spearfishing" that entice users to open their own door to cybercriminals by clicking on infected links.
