Spitzer, Stringer tied in race for New York City comptroller

Former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer and Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer are battling it out in the Democratic primary for New York City comptroller. The latest Quinnipiac University poll gives Spitzer the backing of 49% of the voters, compared with Stringer's 45%. Since the poll has a 4% margin for error, the race is a virtual tie.
