Plans to launch Boston-Nova Scotia ferry fall through

Efforts to launch ferry service between Boston and Nova Scotia have failed, for now, with the owners of the Scotia Prince ferry rejecting a proposal from Shores Atlantic, a Boston investor group. Plans were for cruises to depart from Boston every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the 14-hour ride to Shelburne, Nova Scotia. But Shores Atlantic says its interest has not waned and it will aim to find a ship and crew to begin offering service in May.
