Soda makers consider voluntary school ban

In what's described as a major industry position shift, Coca-Cola Co., Pepsico and other beverage companies are set to vote this week on a voluntary ban on the sale of soft drinks in elementary and middle schools. A Coca-Cola representative said the company "would give serious consideration" to the non-binding proposal.
