WHO: Sun exposure causes 60,000 deaths annually

Ultraviolet radiation from the sun causes as many as 60,000 deaths a year, according to the World Health Organization. Most of the deaths result from skin cancers; and many deaths could be prevented through simple protective measures against sun exposure.
