Brands unite to fight cybersquatting

A group of 10 companies including Yahoo! and Dell have formed the Coalition Against Domain Name Abuse in order to lobby Congress to pass legislation against the practice of cybersquatting. "Cybersquatters" purchase online domain names that are similar to the trademarked names of popular brands and use them for advertising or try to sell them to the trademark holders for a sizable sum.
