Canada enacts tougher food label rules for gluten, allergens

Canada has implemented new food label regulations that require food manufacturers to list allergens, gluten sources and sulphites in their products. Food labels will now have to indicate where the gluten used in the product comes from -- such as barley, wheat or rye.
