Full-body scanners will arrive at O'Hare this year

The TSA will install its new full-body scanners at Chicago's O'Hare Airport by the end of this year. TSA officials say the pilot program, which is not mandatory, will improve security, and they note that only travelers who set off routine metal detectors will be asked to go through a full-body scan. Critics of the scanners say they compromise privacy because they present a revealing view of a traveler's body.
