Student blogger alleges principal libeled her in e-mail exchange

A Connecticut high schooler who referred to school administrators using offensive language on her blog and was subsequently stripped of her position as class secretary plans to sue the school's principal for libel, based on statements the principal allegedly made about her in an e-mail exchange. The student, Avery Doninger, last year filed a separate free-speech suit against the district in an attempt to regain her secretary position. That case is pending.
