Central Florida invests in stormwater upgrades after Fay

After Tropical Storm Fay caused widespread flooding in central Florida last year, several cities and counties have taken steps to update their stormwater systems. Volusia County started $1.4 million worth of stormwater projects this year, including replacing pipes and upgrading pump stations. The city of DeBary received a $5.1 million federal grant for a drainage project.
