GA outrage convinces TSA to alter program

Thanks to a massive opposition campaign launched by general aviation leaders, the TSA is altering a program that affects all aircraft weighing more than 12,500 pounds. The TSA acknowledged it received more than 7,000 comments concerning its controversial Large Aircraft Security Program. The areas that angered GA officials include its prohibited items list, air marshal requirements, third-party audit program and no-fly lists.
