No decline expected at AirVenture, despite weak economy

The organizers of AirVenture expect a half million visitors this week, matching last year's attendance despite a deep recession that has battered the general aviation industry. More than 100,000 pilots are expected to fly into the Oshkosh, Wis., area to browse the displays under "aviation's biggest tent," in the words of Tom Poberezny, president of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
