Sleep is an important factor in postpregnancy weight loss

Research data showed new mothers who got five or fewer hours of sleep per day six months after giving birth were three times as likely to retain extra pregnancy pounds as were women who got seven or more hours. The study also found how long a woman breast-fed was not a significant factor in whether they lost pregnancy weight.
