Finding the optimum price point for a product is no easy task, but one company thinks it might have an answer. The Orchard, a music distribution company, announced a deal with Digonex Technologies, through which it will use "dynamic pricing" to constantly recalibrate the price of each individual song, finding the highest price that most people will pay at that moment. Digonex says hope the technology eventually will be used to determine the cost of a wide range of consumer goods.
