The Wall Street Journal breaks down the business world's biggest earners for the past decade. Larry Ellison of Oracle tops the list, raking in $1.84 billion in compensation; Steve Jobs, who famously refuses to draw a salary, still manages to come in fourth, clocking an impressive $749 million. Researchers say that while a few of the best-paid bosses ran struggling companies, most of the top earners' paychecks simply reflected their companies' rapid growth in recent years.
