FDA advisers will examine Revatio as a lung drug for children

FDA advisers are scheduled Thursday to review whether a clinical study on Pfizer's Revatio is sufficient to determine the drug's efficacy in treating children with pulmonary arterial hypertension. Revatio, a formulation of erectile dysfunction drug Viagra, is approved for adults as a blood pressure treatment.
