Fertel: Nuclear plants help drive Pennsylvania's economic engine

Pennsylvania's nuclear plants are among the top-running power facilities in the country, writes Nuclear Energy Institute President and CEO Marvin Fertel. Aside from generating clean and affordable electricity, he argues, the plants have helped create jobs and spur economic growth for the surrounding communities and the state. Pennsylvania would benefit more from nuclear if new facilities are constructed, Fertel writes.
