National contest honors student with autism for artistic work

A 13-year-old Missouri student who has autism represented the state in a national art competition. Victoria Wright's acrylic-on-canvas painting, "Feathers," was selected as part of the All Kids Can Create project and was featured in an exhibition in Washington, D.C. "All this positive attention for her art and her school have changed Victoria's life dramatically, improving her self-esteem and confidence," her mother said.
