Survey: Google, IBM are tops for cloud-computing needs

Google and IBM are leading the cloud-computing charge, according to the Evans Cloud Development survey from research firm Evans Data. Of those polled, 40% chose Google as the top public cloud player and 30% picked IBM as the best private cloud provider. The survey also revealed developers view moving applications between public and private cloud as important, and backward compatibility is viewed as a priority by 80% of developers.
