Obesity debate moves to supermarkets, manufacturers

With the government estimating that six in 10 Americans are overweight or obese, there is growing pressure on grocery stores and food manufacturers to help in the battle against obesity. PepsiCo announced it is eliminating trans fats from its Frito-Lay products, and Giant Food offers free nutrition advice through its Web site and newsletters.
