Pharmacies may look overseas if allowed

After the House passed a bill that would allow the importation of cheaper prescription drugs, CVS said their pharmacies would buy imported drugs if they were assured they were safe. The National Community Pharmacists Association said it would consider buying the drugs in a "worst-case scenario," though other industry sources said they were not sure wholesalers would buy overseas because of safety concerns. The reimportation bill now faces an uncertain fate in the Senate.
