More growing pains for new iPhone

Apple extended its store hours to try to handle the crushing demand for its new iPhone, but other snags have hurt the company, such as the longer procedure Apple instituted for activating the device that has sent consumers' waiting times through the roof. A number of Apple stores told potential customers Sunday that they were sold out of the cell phone.
